Music for movies, theatre and modern dance

Rainer Hensel has composed, arranged, and produced music for a wide variety of feature films, TV series, theater plays, modern dance and recently published music albums with musical interpretations of poems, like the Dutch poet Jules Deelder or the legendary Belgium poet Jotie T’Hooft. The last years Rainer has produced quite some video-clips based on music for weird poetry, and moreover modern dance-music videos.

Rainer is specialized in writing for acoustic instruments and integrating these instruments into cinematographic soundscapes. However, he has composed and produced music for classical voices, orchestras, pop-music and dance, and even for a tango quartet with bandoneon. Rainer is always searching for the right synergy between the movie and what is going on in the movie or on stage.
